Longtime voice student, Seth Gruber, sang the role of Bacchus in Utah Lyric Opera's production of Ariadne auf Naxos Summer 2018 to great acclaim. Afterward, he entered the Death By Aria Competition.  Guest celebrity judge was Deborah Voigt. He never dreamed he would have the opportunity to ever meet her, let alone sing for her.

On  February 24, 2019 at 5 PM.  A Benefit Concert for Syrian Relief and Refugees will be presented at Church of the Redeemer Episcopal on Palm Avenue in Sarasota.

 Diana Walters, soprano, will sing a Bach aria with violin & organ and then, an aria from "The Consul" by Menotti. 

Violinist, Mariela Shaker will be the concert headliner.   She will play and lecture.  She has received many awards for her work, including the 2018 Ann Frank Promise Keeper Award.  She was a featured speaker in June at the Social Innovation Summit in Seattle and Chicago. She was a Points of Light Ambassador in 2016 and won the Women in Conflict Peace Fellowship in Scotland in 2017.

 The impressive, Ann Stephenson-Moe will collaborate on organ and piano with the soloists.
